Industry Specific ComplianceThe Industries & Commerce Department, Govt. of Haryana on May 27, 2026, issued the Haryana Data Centre Policy, 2026.

The following has been stated:

• The policy aims to position Haryana as a globally competitive hub for data centres by creating a secure, sustainable, and business-friendly ecosystem for digital infrastructure development. The policy seeks to attract ₹10,000 crore of investment during its five-year validity period, promote data sovereignty, strengthen cloud and digital infrastructure, and support the growth of technology-driven sectors such as artificial intelligence, fintech, telecom, and IT/ITeS. 

• It provides a transparent and time-bound regulatory framework, encourages the adoption of renewable energy and resource-efficient technologies, and aims to generate high-quality employment opportunities in data centre operations and allied services.

• To incentivize investments, the policy offers CAPEX reimbursement support for Data Centre Units, including 20% reimbursement of eligible capital expenditure (up to ₹25 crore per unit) for Hyper Data Centres and support for Core and Edge Data Centres as specified under the policy. Data Centre Park developers are eligible for 20% reimbursement of eligible capital expenditure, subject to a ceiling of ₹15 crore, covering infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy projects, R&D facilities, skill development centres, stamp duty, and external development charges. 

• The policy also provides employment-linked incentives, non-fiscal support measures, and the possibility of customized incentive packages for Ultra Mega and Mega projects through the Haryana Enterprise Promotion Board (HEPB).
